Light & Healthy Egg Muffins- With Liver!
Having healthy and quick snacks on hand is crucial if you want to keep your nutrient intake high and provide your body with fuel- and these egg muffins do just that! These little snack muffins are made with real food ingredients plus have an added superfood to give them even more of a boost!
We all know we should eat more healthy foods, but unfortunately, knowing isn’t doing. That’s why having quick, healthy options on hand is so important: to make healthy eating easy!
One reason why egg muffins are so perfect is that they’re easy to make and contain everything you need in a healthy snack: protein, fats, vegetables and a delicious taste.
Did you know that liver is one of the most nutrient dense foods you can eat? Liver can help boost energy, improve the immune system and contains good amounts of protein, iron and B12 – a few nutritional points most people don’t get enough of.
These egg muffins come with all of the above, as well as an extra dose of energy!
Unfortunately, most people have a bit of trouble consuming liver on a regular basis. When this happens, the best recommendation is to hide it in something tasty!
These egg muffins are extra healthy because the contain Desiccated Liver Powder! This powder is ideal as a supplement because its nutritional profile is so potent.
That said, because the liver is a filtration organ, it’s extremely important to use a quality product. Grass fed beef liver will give you all the benefits of liver and ensure that you’re not taking in anything harmful.
Thanks to the liver powder and the eggs, these muffins are a great high protein snack! One of the macronutrients we often consume too little of is protein and yet it’s crucial to our systems.
Since liver powder is 70% protein by weight, these egg muffins are a nutrient dense, fuel bomb!
Proteins are responsible for more than just our muscles. They also help keep our immune system functioning properly, help regulate our hormones and replenish your bodies building blocks. And since we can’t make all of the amino acids we need, we have no choice but to take them in daily.
On top of helping our body function optimally, protein helps keep us full! Instead of relying on a sugar rush to get through the day, protein-based snacks will help stabilize the energy release and maintain your fuel until the next meal.
Ensuring you always have healthy snacks on hand is easy! While these muffins taste best right out of the oven, whip up a big batch of these egg muffins and place some in the freezer to store. When you need one, grab one out of the freezer, throw it in the toaster oven or microwave and enjoy! Simple, tasty & healthy – the perfect snack.
